  • Best Semi Autonomous luxury car for your dollar

I own the Essential AWD with every option except the suede interior. I purchased this specifically for its semi autonomous highway driving capability. After test driving every single vehicle with this level of lane keep assist not just in the segment but across sedans as well this vehicle takes the cake. The vehicle performs flawlessly on the highway taking curves at 80mph following its preset distance behind the car in front of you and allows you to just sit back and relax. The interior with its stitched leather and aluminum accents far outweigh the competition ever vehicles priced $20,000 over what I paid for this car. Yes the driving. When done by hand is not the sportiest and the steering is very light. This is because it has to be so the steering assist can take over.... I personally love having to use minimal effort to drive when I do decide to take the wheel in this car and not spoil myself with the propilot assist. This car is made for commuters, who want to relax on the highway even in stop and go it will drive for you with just occasional prompts to touch the steering wheel. Tesla level autonomy for $20,000 less. It’s a no brainer and the interior will make you want to sit in it even when you get home from a long day. Also 30mpg highway and in sport mode it’s extremely responsive.
  • Class & performance competes with the best

Very impressed with this luxury SUV. I opted for just about all of the bells and whistles short of the quilted seats & tow package, and I have no regrets. It won't nail you to the back seat if you floor it from zero, but you will feel its power once you get going as you accelerate past the other cars. Love the interior, panoramic roof, audio system, two screens, and not missing the hype for airplay. Steering is light as a feather. Pro Pilot assist is the precursor to self driving cars, and convenient to have. Gas mileage is admirable, and maintenance cost of ownership is more favorable compared to the European competition. My wife, family, and friends love the roomy interior, quiet ride, and storage areas. I usually keep my vehicles about 10 years. So, if I have any reservations it would have to be how well the new engine & trans configuration with more moving parts will hold up over the years, but so far, so good. Enjoying it for now.
  • A little disappointing

Really noticeable steering torque when accelerating, vehicle/steerng pulls side to side until it stabilizes. Fuel economy not as good as stated (it never is!!) 23mpg mixed driving, 26-28mpg highway
